Kallis’ homestay program allows students to stay with American families, encouraging complete cultural immersion. Our month-long program gives students the opportunity to take classes at a nearby university during the day. Students may take classes in several subjects, tailored to their individual academic needs. Popular choices include: Business, English Language, and Marketing. In the afternoons and on weekends, students will be engaged in a variety of fun and exciting activities in our camp program. Kallis students make many new friends during their stays and experience the cultural diversity and natural beauty of the American West.
We also offer programs for K-8 students. These students attend local elementary schools and learn English naturally through interactions with local students and teachers. This program helps students build self-confidence by exposing them to conversational styles typical to native speakers. Students participating in this program will also have the opportunity to visit nearby landmarks and historical sites, encouraging them to explore American culture and experience the excitement of San Diego!
